Christopher Dechannes
Based in the heart of the champagne, in the department of Aube, the village of Les Riceys offers a land of exceptional richness and typicity. The only village in France with three A.O.C (Champagne, Rosé des Riceys and Coteaux Champenois), Les Riceys is known and recognized for its wines and its unique landscapes. Christophe Dechannes is one of those passionate Champagne winemakers who produce wines from know-how handed down from father to son, with a vineyard of 8 hectares. Roland Dechannes started to make his Champagne in 1973, and his son, Christophe, continue to develop the familial estate with the brand Champagne Christophe Dechannes, along with his wife, Christine, and their children Romain and Laura. Its champagne is produced in the pure respect of traditional methods, on a human scale operation. This winemaker can pride himself on mastering his small production from grape picking to the commercialization of his wine.
