In the thirteenth century the Templars were one of the largest religious orders in Europe. The resemblance in name between Château Tour Saint Blaise in Bordeaux and the famous Templar tower ‘Tour Saint Blaise' at Hyères, has led some to think a few templars may have fled here to seek shelter and left a coded message, perhaps about their treasure … Our winemakers, have found that the true treasure of Chateau La Tour Saint Blaise is its exceptional Terroir, which has helped the production of this superb, Merlot dominated vintage.

This wine has an attractive rich, silky bouquet of red and black fruit with hints of toast.
Flavour
In the mouth the wine is supple and fruity, followed by notes of blackberry and smooth tannins.
